Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. She began her acting career when she was a teenager. She is best known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders as well in the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble, who worked as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has three siblings. As a teenager She performed in nightclubs when she escaped from her home. The actress studied acting since her 13th birthday at Wooster School. She then pursued drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actor, model and singer. As teenager, she would perform in clubs by going away from home. Kari aged 13 years old, attended the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She took drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which she was taught by a professor known as Uta. Kari began acting when she was an teen, and her first TV appearance was on 1987 MTV's Remote Control.
