Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, also writes. She was best known as Tara Maclay in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson was the younger child born to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her birthplace was Birmingham in Alabama, on 8 January 1977. Danielle is her older sister and is an artist.
