Anne Marie Tiernon began her career in 1989 with WMBD 31, a station in Peoria the state of Illinois. Then, in 1991, she went to Indianapolis. She was a reporter on the CBS-affiliated WISH-TV newscast at 11PM and co-anchored its 5:30 PM broadcast with Scott Swan. Tiernon served as anchor and reporter for WWLWT's 5:06 and 11:00 p.m. programs in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2000 to 2004. Tiernon, an Emmy Award-winning journalist has been covering major and minor reports all through her career. In recognition of her outstanding medical reporting skills, she was awarded first place at the National Headliner Award. Tiernon was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is currently married to Terry Tiernon.
