Morgan Fairchild is an American actor. The actress was born Patsy McClenny on February 3 in 1950. The actress gained fame in the latter part of the 1970s and into the early 1980s with continuing roles in several television series, in which she usually displayed a glamorous appearance. Fairchild began her acting career between 1973 and 1977 on CBS' Search for Tomorrow show, a daytime soap that starred Jennifer Pace. She starred in 1978 in the soap opera of the same name Dallas in the role of being the very first actor to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's premiertime soap Paper Dolls. In 1985 through 1986, she was the lawyer Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre and in guest roles for television series like Roseanne Cybill, Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the former, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Fairchild is also a SAG-AFTRA board membership.
