Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born September 15, 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Reared in the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay directed her ingenious writing talents as well as her remarkable abilities in research to create an amazing psycho-historical account of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled The Only Man knows My History. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked the congregation with his words"You don't know me" I never told you about my heart. No one knows my story. The truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn (29 years old) stated that in the time she has been honest since the moment she made her statement the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the event. Some have attacked him, others have praised him, some have even tried their hands at clinical diagnosis it is not the fact that these documents lack information, however they're in complete contradiction. It is a matter of separating first-hand testimony from third hand plagiarism and fitting Mormon-and non-Mormon-narratives into a coherent history. It's both thrilling and instructive. Fawn brodie was professionally dedicated to the task. The results of her study and writing immortalized her with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. Scourge of the Southern (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as well as the posthumously Richard Nixon.
